Logan Double -40c (-40F)

The ultimate expedition bag.  Logan Double gets around the lack of versatility usually associated with expedition bags by offering two complete bags that can be used separately or together.  The outer is a modified mummy bag designed to provide comfort to below 0 degreesF.  The inner is a light, tapered hoodless bag ideal for summer use or bivouac.  Using both bags together results in an extremely efficient expedition bag with absolutely not heat-robbing air space inside.  Logan Double may be ordered with 30 inch zippers to save weight and increase efficiency.  One of the few sleeping bags that will keep you warm in Himalayan conditions. (We know because it has been there).

In the past we advertised the Logan Double as ‘The Worlds Finest Down Sleeping Bag’ until the day the man from the phone company called and said we couldn’t put that in the Yellow Pages unless we could prove it.  He didn’t have six months to go to Nepal so we had to drop it – but we still think it’s true. The one thing we do know from speaking to our customers is that there will be a time when you wish you had one (brrrrr….).
